You cannot revise the ST-3 after 90 days of filing the original return.
.
But as per Sec. 73(3) of the Finance Act, 1994, before issuance of notice, where any service tax has not been levied/paid/short-levied/short-paid, you can pay such tax with interest and inform the Range Superintendent in writing. This will save you from notice and penalty in respect of the outstanding amount.

there is no service tax payable, i just happen to give wrong data (typing error). i just want to correct it

To comply with the law you can intimate to superintendent about the changes in ST - 3 excel format and get the acknowledgement. So that will be your evidence in the court of law in case any penalty invoked by audit authorities.
