Basically as we all know service tax return file on half yearly mode. Gross amount received in money mean to say that how much fund you (company/firm) have received for which you are filling the return whether pertain to any Financial Year and gross money = Fund (in bank) + TDS (which customer has deducted).
And Gross amount for which bills/invoices/challans are those for which you have made invoices and given to your customers for current half year for which you are filling the return.

Gross money received will be details regarding Receipts whether against bills or in advance and 2nd is your billing details that is total amount of bill raised by you in that period..

1) Gross amount received in money= total receipt
2) Gross amount for which bills/invoices/challans are issued== bill raise
both above include any advance rceipt or billing....!!
