When the aggregate value of commission/ brokerage exceeds 9 lacs per annum
I agree to the above view. However, to be more precise, the year begins from April onwards, and, during the year, before the close at March, whenever, the gross value of services exceed Rs. 9 lac, the person is eligible to register himself with the Service Tax Authorities.
