One of my client is providing "Works Contract" Service from city of Vadodara & have got the "Registration of Single premise"
Now they want to open a branch at Mumbai, where separate books will be maintained apart from Vadodara office. Bills of service provided shall be issued from both areas shall be raised by respective offices & accordingly tax also shall be paid separately.
Now the question is, how to get the Mumbai branch registered with the Service tax department. Please note that the ownership is same & books are maintained separately (no centralised billing).
