We are a Delhi based export firm exporting manufactured goods. We pay huge amount of service tax on courier services. We have to apply for refund of service tax as per Notification no. 41/2012 dated 29.06.2012. Where to apply Service Tax or Central Excise? Also tell the procedure for the same.

Service tax refund should be applied with ST dept; you need to file your claim in FOrm A1, there are conditions laid out in notification quoted by you. After you file your refund claim, you will called for a personal hearing and you should be able to get a refund in approx 1.5 years time.

we have submitted declaration for getting Service Tax code in Form A-2 as we are neither liable to be registered with Excise nor Service Tax.
But the reply was to apply online.
How will we do the same??
