pls. help me out to provide Service Tax Rates on work Contracts. earlier the same was @ 4.80 % + Cess & H. Cess.

Dear Nitin,
New Rate will be as follows:
1. For Original Works - 5.6% (14% * 40%)
2. For Repairs, Renovation, Alteration, etc. - 9.8% (14% * 70%)
No EC and SHEC applicable. Swach Bharat Cess will be applicable for a future date yet to be notified.
