Is school running under society liable to pay service tax on the freight on building material?

Yes, school would be liable. Person liable to pay the freight being -any sociaety regd under the societies registration act
Way out is to see that the freight is paid/ payable by the vendor/ sender.
if society is regd. u/s 12AA will it make any difference
