Any bill booked or payment received on 31st March,2014 towards taxable service when service tax is due for payment? Whether one can pay till 5th April,2014 it's service tax liability with out interest in such case?

for the month of service tax due date is 31st March. If it is paid subsequently, interest @ 18% p.a. is applicable.
