Service tax payment??

E- Tax payment is made mandatory from 19.02.2010 for the assessee who paid service tax of Rs. 10 Lakh or more includes payment through Cash as well as Cenvat Credit. Cheque will be made in the favour of "PNB Service Tax A/C". 

if service tax amount is less than 10Lacs can we pay through SBI/HDFC Bank Account? and in what name?

your annual service tax payment should be less than 10 lakh. you can pay through SBI or HDFC Bank A/c in the favour of PNB Service Tax A/C. 

can we not pay by issuing cheque in fav of "yourself service tax a/c"?? will they not accept it in hdfc or sbi account??
