my client is receiving commission from sub agency for air line booking. does the commission he receives is inclusive of service tax. there is was circular on this topic issued in year 1997 by cce delhi . does this circular stands withdrawn?? pls advise

If your commission exceeds Rs.10L, you are liable to service tax .Whether that commision includes service tax or not depends on mutual contract.
