Can any one please provide me with the notification number or the notification itself which imposes service tax on lawyers...

The service was brought into tax net by the Finance(No. 2) Act, 2009 and was made effective wef 01.09.09 vide Notification No. 26/2009-Service Tax, dated, 19th August, 2009.
