Service tax on gta

HI EXPERTS... We registered company we have received invoice from GTA with service tax, now we have to pay service tax to vendor(GTA) or it is falling under RCM( we have to pay Directly GOVT). I am in confusion please help me to understand the machanism. GTA has service tax registration number.

Hello,

You are covered under RCM as services are recived from GTA and you need to pay service tax on 75% and remaining 25% shall be charged by the provider fom you

As per Service Tax Rules, in GTA Service 100% Service Tax Payable by Service Receiver. If You have received bill from Transporter of Rs. 35000/- then Service Tax Payable are as follow..

Transport Charges 35000/-

Less : Abatement @ 70% 24500
