I am in hotel, we are providing banqueting service also.
While providing banquet function service there are many input services we taken for providing service like DJ, flower decoration as a part of service.
So, I am confused weather these service are lible to service tax as we pay for them to each party for expense done on that.

In my view that you recd. those service as input is taxable, if you recd. such service incl. service tax take the Cenvat credit and utilized the same.
If you recd. those service is not incl. the service tax then you should not paid.
But you possition is not clear here.
If you are taken any servicetax registration, if not and you cross the exemption limit Rs. 10 lacs than your liabilities is to be created. Otherwise not problem.
Those service not taxable if you ot cross the exemption limit.
