Service tax number cancellation

Service tax registration cancellation is available online..... kindly go on the link www.aces.gov.in  and click on service tax in the said site. But first of all u should have user id and password of the party. If not, u can call the service tax department, provide assessee's registration number and they will provide u User Id and TPIN Password through email.

what after that..i have logged into parties account..then i clicked surrender even..but then option which is flaashing is cancel..

First Login into the ACES Website with user ID and Password of the registrant. In the tab REG, there is an option to Surrender the RC. After surrender, take an acknowledgement and submit  the same along with  Original RC to the Range Superintendent. Pay any tax dues, if any along with appropriate interest before surrender. File ST-3 Return upto the date of surrender.
