Hello everyone,
I am working as a consultant in a pvt ltd company and getting Rs.22,000/- p.m. as consultancy fee. I don't have any other income. am i liable to pay service tax?
Please help.Thanks in advance..

upto Rs. 10 lakhs exempt from service tax.

Service Tax is exempt if the Total Value of Services provided is less than Rs. 10 Lakhs
