Service tax input credit of last year

Dear All,

Can we adjust last year input credit of Service Tax against Service Tax payble in the month of April.

For Eg.

Input credit for the year ended as per Service Tax return ( 31.03.2012):- Rs 32000/-

Service Tax payable for the month of April 2012 of Rs. 30500/-

can we adjust Rs. 30500/- against Rs. 32000/-
