Service Tax Credit
Hello Friends, i need some clarificaion regarding claiming of service tax credit. If an assessee who deposits service tax monthly, does not take service tax credit during that month, can he avail the same in the next month. similarly if one pays excess service tax during any month can he adjust the excess payment in the susequent month.

YES THE CREDIT CAN BE TAKEN AT ANY POINT OF TIME.THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT FOR TAKING CREDIT AS EARLIER IS OF 6 MONTHS IN MODVAT RULES.

i would like to know about service tax paid on broking activity can we claim cenvat credit on that if yes then how many % can we utilised cenvat credit?
