01 April 2010Company is engaged in fumigation Services (Pest Control Services) , For fumigation they are using chemicals .
In Chemicals bill supplier charged excise duty . The Liable for Service tax on sales bill .
can we take the cenvat credit on Chemicals bill ?
If Yes wheather we required to maintaine RG 23 part 2 Register
please Guide me procedure for that cenvat credit

Dear Subash,
The credit of CED paid fro chemcial is available as it is used in providng the service as long as the ST is paid on the gross amount and material deductions are not claimed.
The VAT liability may also exist as there is atransfer of goods.

please guide me regarding service tax credit. we are manufacture of mattress. we pay s/tax on freight,advertisement,professional fees,security,telephon. could i get the service tax credit with excise duty . and which freight, adv,------------?
