can we take the service tax credit without considering the relation between service input and service output. that is we have registered under service tax and we have not raised any service tax invoice during this year. we have paid service tax on AMC on office equipment. can i take this service tax as credit and later on can i go for refund of this amount.

YOU CAN ONLY TAKE INPUT CREDIT.. IT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED....

This you can take credit and show as a credit availed not utlised but amount will not get refund only you can adjust against output

It would be important to examine if you have any other activity and any restriction on the same as per Rule 6(3).
