Whether service tax input availed on telephone charges and audit fees can be taken, if i have service tax out put from rendering of labour services. Kindly clarify me with reason.

yes u can avail the benefit of service tax paid on telephone and audit fee provided u have taken registeration under cenvat credit rules.

Hi harpreet
u mean that i have to be regestered with service tax department.
But still i have doubt that input credit can be availed only when it is dirctly related to the out put service which i provided. This is as said in service tax input rules.
so based on the above statement kindly clarify me.

If telephones are used by you for providing output service,you can avail credit of it.you can take credit of service tax paid on audit fee.

my client has import one crane and paid the custom duty on import. he give cranes on rent to the parties.
can he get credit of custom duty against his service tax
