As i m doing self study can anyone tell me what r d important topics in service tax as well in VAT ?

as for ipcc students there is no choice for selective study...because these two act will cover 50 marks in taxation. so do'nt think to go for selective topics...
you have to prepare whole of the syllabus for service tax and vat...and indeed these helps to get more marks....cover the entire course......

yaar forget about selective study you are doing a professional course now.
