Go to Ret ---> E-filing --> view status...
Yes but that isn't a proper acknowlegement like we get in Income Tax. This just shows 'filed'. It doesn't even show the the period for which the return is filed, leave alone details of services or service tax

Where you have filed your Return using e filing option, you can see the status of your return by giving a range of dates. It may reflect a message as uploaded - where the return has been uploaded but is still under processing, filed - uploaded successfully and accepted by the department or rejected - return needs to pe modified & uploaded again.
In case you have used Fill ST3 utility, no such status is shown at a later stage. It is a real time filing utility where you instantly get the status of your return on filing. when the return is filed successfully, the status is displayed on the screen with acknowledgement details. if you require you may take a snapshot of this screen or note the number for future reference. In my opinion there is no requirement to send a copy of return or acknowledgement to the department after successfully filing the return.

In case you forgot to keep a record of Acknowledgement Number, after logging in on ACES go to RET > Fill ST3 > Revise ST3 > Select the Premises Code > See the details of return filed by you.
