I have deposited ser. tax for the month of aug. in october month. i have not filled the return for that half year. should i deposit the interest on delay payment for aug. month.

Depositing interest for late remittance may be advisable. Depending upon the amount of service tax involved, my suggestion to you would be to pay interest on the service tax amount @ 13% per annum.
