Dear Sumit
The act is not specific on the matter of payment of service tax. Someone is of the opinion that firstly you should have to clear the Govt dues. But the best way is to make the payment iof service tax proportionately on the amount of payment received.
So pay service tax on Rs 250000/-

What is the service. If you are a trader then there is no liability under ST.

I agree with Mr. Madhukar.. You are liable to pay the Service tax only on the amount received for the Taxable Services..
There will ne no liability of Service Tax on Sales
