Service tax

I charge a customer certain amount of service Tax say 14,500 Rupees. Now Do I need to pay all of this to the Government or Can I adjust that against that Service Tax I have paid to my suppliers against the supplies and services I have obtained from them?

You can adjust input service tax against output service tax...rest of the  liabilty should be deposited to government.

AGREE WITH RAMESH

OK and Does the same thing apply with Maharashtra VAT ??

Like VAT Payable = VAT Charged to Customers - VAT charged by my suppliers

Normally, agenda , or notes to agenda shall be signed by Company Secretary or if there is no Company Secretary , then by passing Board resolution authorize any of the Director or authorised signatory to sign the agenda on behalf of company. But if the Company is having Company Secretary , then such complianc shll be done by Company Secretary only
