Is servcice tax applicable on commision received on (ie on herbal products) as on july 2012.

Yes it will attract ST.
however If these services are related to testing of herbal products approved by a clinical research organisation approved to conduct clinical trials by the Drug Controller General of India, then ST will not be applicable.
