what is the due date for filing service tax returns?
is e-filing and payment compulsory for all or only if income crosses 10lakhs?

the due date is 25th of the following month ending hal;f yearly...dat means 25th of october and 25th of april..
e filing is compulsory for every assessee w.e.f. 1st october 2011.
the payment should be done in e mode if the amount of service tax payable by the assessee exceeds 10 lakhs.
