Just won't to know whether service tax is applicable on making hoardings and sign boards etc. And whether cenvat can be utlised/or used for servies taken

Design drawing work is liable to service tax . If value of horading has been subjected to VAT, service tax may not be liable. But Kerala HC in Zodiac Advertisers, held that flex board printing and supplying attracts service tax nothwithstanding that VAT has been paid.
