Serv t on the interest portion-cash on cal agnst credit card

Hi,

Service Tax on the interest portion of the Cash on call loan against Credit Card

I have taken Cash on Call loan from credit card, bankers has charging service tax on Interest portion. So any one please confirm whether Service Tax is applicable on Interest portion or not
