Separate account requirement in private placement

Dear Members,

In Private Placement, we need to open a separate account wherein share application money needs to be kept till allottment.

Now my questions is what kind of Bank account is Required? Few are saying any type will work whereas others are saying for Escrow Account?

Kindly clarify can the Company opens a new Current account for this purpose??
