what is senior citizen tax saving scheme,. how can save in this scheme, tax dealing, rebate.

this is tax saving & 5 year inv scheme thr po & banks, Int is 8.4%. - 8.5%
tax rebate u/80-C up to 1.5 L allowed

The scheme name is Senior Citizen Savings Scheme. interest is paid quarterly but it subject to TDS provisions. interest is taxable.

after maturity the above said amount is taxable or not
