Selling Property in joint name

If my house is in my (first name)and my wife's name (50-50% ownership, since Both of us paid equally for buying the house), Can the Sale proceeds and LTCG be divided 50-50, for tax filing purposes ?

Yes Exactly it's 50/50...
LTCG will be taxed equally 50-50% in the hands of husband and wife
