Self Study CA Final

take coachings  but do self study simultaneoslly 

self study is more helpful than the coaching

Hi Karthikeyan, I am a ca final student doing self study 4 all d subjects. I am very comfortable studying on my own. But that doesnt mean I dont face any problems. Many times I felt stuck in some portion. Whenever that happened, I wud leave that portion & study something else. After a few days, I wud refer again that portion . This time it wud be more clear. The other problem with self study is that u may not be regular in ur studies. When u go for coaching, u will attend classes compulsorily, It may not be the same case with a student doing self study(I have a lot of difficulty in this aspect as I am a very very lazy guy). Also time consumption is another facor. A student doing self study definitely requires more time than a student attending classes. But I dont believe that the extra time we spend is a waste. It wud help us fare better in exams than the ones going 4 classes. 

So my suggestion wud be to do self study first & get a basic idea about all d subjects. Then u will be in a situation to decide whether u need to take coaching 4 any subjects. Opt 4 classes 4 only d subjects  which u think u cant do on ur own.

when , brother , u take tuitions , u only gain from a great man's knowledge. I m junior to u, having given my ipcc exams today. dont know much about final but i know the importance of tuitions to a 1st year student who ventured into ca. but dude dont forget to polish ur head when an intellect is giving u knowledge. it depends upon u, how u take it>>>>>

coaching is waste of time.i'll b gvg final in nov 2011 and i had registered for classes initially it was good bt nw managing it with articleship is very difficult and its a total waste of time.i mplanning to quit all the classes and do self study bcoz ultimately that wud only help.

i too have done self study in pcc. but found very slow. cleared 1st group in 1st attempt. took 2 attempts for 2nd. but many concepts were not clear. now i joined classes for finals. i find i missed many basics. Without the strong base i m finding few topics difficult to understand. i think atleast some guidance or crash course is necessary to speed up self study. it is not impossible to self study and clear. But as u know the vast portion, time constraint and in-depth knowledge requirement in ca final, makes some expert guidance necessary. ( I am preparing for nov 11 attempt)
