Self Occupied Properties by Husband and Wife seperately

If Mr. A, a NRI is having a property in India in his single name which his parents occupy. Can his wife Mrs. A who is also a NRI and has purchased another property in India in her first name and Mr. A's second name claim this property as self occupied for Income tax purposes?
