Mrs. X's self assessment tax was Rs.5000/- and i paid that online in her PAN.
However Mr.X's Self assessment tax was NIL but by mistake i paid the self asssessment tax Rs.5000/- in his PAN.
My question :
1. Can i claim refund of Rs.5000/- by filing ITR since total income is less than the taxable limit ?

As per my understanding, you can claim the refund of wrong self assessment taxes paid by filing the revised income tax returns.
