RCM on Security Services has been introduced in GST by the Government Vide Notification No.29/2018-Central Tax (Rate) dated 31.12.2018. Attached herewith Notification.W.e.f., 01-01-2019, any registered person receiving Security Services (services provided by way of supply of secuirty personnel) from any person otherthan a body corporate is required to pay GST on reverse charge (RCM) basis.
What would be the new invoice format... Will there be any changes to return filing
No Changes to return filing , only figures are to be shown under column of RCM input tax and output liabilities, and additional accounting entries need to passed.
regarding tax invoice, need to take advice from other member, as security agency will issue invoice. so need not prepare invoice again.
