Can any one tell me how to secure an worksheet with a password to disallow others even to view the content in that work sheet...?

I assume you are using office 2007/2010.
In such case, go to Office Button (which is on top left-side). Click that and select 'Prepare' option which will show more options. From those options, you need to select 'Encrypt Document'. Then it will ask for password 2 times. Choose your password and you are done. Next time when you open the file, you need to put-in the password. In this way, no body else can even view the content because it asks password. Hope this helps you.

Subhash..!!!
If any one forgot password, then, they can't access that workbook.
Data in that may be lost.
