Ajay Ji dont you think part applicability of CA 1956 and part applicability of CA 2013 will be more confusing? Would it not have been better had the entire act been completely replaced after finalization of rules?

Yes, part applicability of CA 1956 and part applicability of CA 2013 is extremely confusing.
Appointment and resignation of directors is applicable from today. Section 161 - The articles of a company may confer on its Board of Directors the power to appoint any person, other than a person who fails to get appointed as a director in a general meeting, as an additional director at any time who shall hold office up to the date of the next annual general meeting.

Sir
I have gone through PPT Presentation comparing Companies Bill 2013 And companies Act, 1956. But can someone really clarify me that whether there are a lot of changes between two or just some amendements. Because i have my CA Final exams in May 2014 and my law classes are going on, which are going as per old syllabus. So should i continue them or wait for ICAI notification. Please guide me about the same, in lot of confusion.
