Rule 21AA of IT act says the employee may furnish to the person responsible for making the payment referred to in sub-section (1) of section 192, the particulars specified in form 10E

Dear ramakrishnaraju,
I agree with friend that u have claim it.........since it's computation involves recalculating tax of previous years as well, which u cannot expect ur officer to do such calculations.......u have to do in & submit it in Form 10E

You do the calcualtions and submit the relevant form
