I have received arrear of salary in a.y. 2018-19 for the f.y.2016-17 and 2017-18 . I had been submit form itr-1 and form 10e for the a.y. 2018-19.
now in this a.y.2019-20 I have received again arrear of salary for the f.y. 2016-17 and 2017-18and 2018-19.
my question is how to compute total income in this a.y. for the f .y. 2016-17 and 2017-18.
for computation of relief u/s89(1)
option 1 return income plus arrear of salary received in a.y.2018-19 plus arrear of salary received in a.y.2019-20.
option 2 - return income plus arrear of salary received in a. y. 2019-10 only.
please provide solution
