does the amount which is spent and applicable for deduction u/s 80D comes under the overall limit of saving of 1.5 lakh or lies outside it and can be claimed for deduction outside this limit for A.Y. 2016-17.

Limit of Sec 80D is in addition of the limit mentioned in Sec 80C.

1.5lacs limits is for 80C+80CCC+80CCD only..
