Medical expenditure incurred up to Rs.30,000 /- can be claimed under 80 D only if
1. Expenditure incurred up to Rs.30,000 on account of medical expenditure on health of assessee or any member of family
2. Assessee or family member who undergone treatment should be very senior citizen( 80 years or more) and no amount has been paid towards insurance on the health of such person.
