Ex. i am selling a residential House. Actual sale consideration is Rs. 1,00,000 and Value as per Stamp Valuation Authority is Rs 1,07,000. As per the provision of section 50C, Rs. 1,07,000 will be sale consideration.
i want to know if there is any provision in section 50C to take Rs. 1,00,000 as sale consideration if i am not satisfied with SDV (Rs. 1,07,000) and can i file my ITR assuming Rs. 1,00,000 as sale consideration?
