Payment exceeding Rs.10,000 by otherwise than by account cheque , draft i.e by cash or bearer cheque will be disallowed if made to single person in a single day. In case the payment is made for plying, hiring or leasing of goods carriage. than Rs 35,000

sir payment exceeding 20000 instead of 10000.and this amount exist in sec 40A(3)

Finance bill 2017 has reduced this limit to 10000

For Exam it is Rs20000 (Nov 17) & for office it is Rs10000
