Can an regular employee who is only B.Com and experiance of more than 10 year , represent the Firm or company before income tax authority and handle the case Independently i.e without employee any chartered accountant or advocate.

As per section sec-288 of IT Act, an assessee or an authorised representative can attend before the income tax department
Authorised representative means a person authorised by the assessee in writing to appear on his behalf
Therefore in your case before authorising the person ,.make a written letter to the income tax department that i am authorising so and so person to appear before you on behalf of me
