Whether Balance sheet of holding company in terms of Sec. 212(1) of the companies act, 1956 applicable to private companies (both the holding & subsidiary being private ltd cos not subsidiary of any public ltd cos).

Yes, Sec 212 is applicable to all the Companies. Private Companies incuded. It is mandatory to attach the B/s of subsidiary with the Holding company. You can obtain an exemption from Central Government by an aplication.
