I am salaried employee and while at the start of the year , we made some declaration about what we will provide under Section 10 to claim deductions. below were the amounts given
Leave Travel Assistance : Sec. 10(5) - Rs 10000
CAR REIMBURSEMENT EXEMPT - Rs 15000
TELEPHONE EXEMPT - Rs 5000

TOTAL Rs. 30,000
I could able to provide the bills and accordingly the amount got reflected in Form 16 under "Total amount of any other exemption under section 10" . below was the amount for which bills were given
Leave Travel Assistance : Sec. 10(5) - Rs 10000

TELEPHONE EXEMPT - Rs 4000

TOTAL = Rs 25,000
But there were more bills that i discovered which takes my total exemption under section 10 to Rs. 29,000 (form 16 specifies Rs. 25,000)
While filing the income tax return , can I put the data in the filling based on Rs. 29,000 under section 10 ? . I have the bills for the additional Rs 4000 ( 29000 - 25000) which I forgot to provide to consider to my company.
