WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS WHETHER I HAVE TO REPORT U/S 269SS OR NOT WHAETHER IT IS TREATED AS CASH.

Consider it as advance from the depositior.....
Ask western union to transfer amount directly to the bank account.
If taken cash from Western union than you have to report in 269ss
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
