yes its compulsory because its prove its sales from Company.

If its not showing means company doing some wrongly business for saving tax.

Govt. can give show cause notice for all sales.

Agree with Nitin Sir, one more thing if on invoice you are not mentioning the name of the COmpany how one can track the shipment belongs to which company? And what is the sancity of the invoice if it doesn't have the name of the Company it's like a piece of paper to which any one can write anything. If a company is a manufacturer it shall mention it's Excise Regn. No., so that it can be traced at time of inspection.
