We have been given a List of Private recoreds (internal records) to be maintained in our Company by the Excise dept.
In that we ought to have a SCRAP REGISTER for which I need a format / template, Can anypne can give me?

There is no format of scrap register.
If Scrap is a finished product on which duty is paid, it should be entered into RG-1. The general practice followed in engineering industry is to weigh the scrap at the time to sale, enter into RG-1 and clear it. Before weighment, the scrap is work in progress, and not required to be entered into RG-1.

Dear Sir,
We are not maintaining any scrap records, directly sales to party on excise invoice. is it wrong ? Which records are required for that ? and what is "Weighment Scrap Challan Book" ? & what is its importants ?
Please help me.

No records for scrap is required to be maintained. However, as it is a final product, it should be entered into RG-1 register.
